Charles Foran wins for “Mordecai: The Life & Times”

The Charles Taylor Prize recognizes excellence in Canadian literary non-fiction.  The award was established in 1998 to commemorate the life and work of Charles Taylor, one of Canada’s foremost literary non-fiction writers.

This year the jury chose Charles Foran as the Canadian author whose book, Mordecai: The Life & Times best demonstrates a superb command of the English language, an elegance of style and a subtlety of thought and perception.
