Hi Carole! House is still a construction zone but making great progress. Loving it! Hate moving …don’t know how you did it cross country!

We had movers, but it was still kind of awful. 🙂 So worth it, though! Can’t wait to see pics of the lake house.

We did too but construction finish date kept getting pushed back. Regardless of careful planning around selling the old house, we moved into the ‘zone’. Will be surprised if still another month before it’s done.

Yay- glad you found your camera and are posting again. I love the dreamy-nesss of this image, and the being drawn into the reflection…makes me want to see more into that room, which promises peace and rest.

Thanks, Janet … All I need in that room is a linen closet!

Lovely tones here, Cheryl, and I like your use of the reflection — the coloured furniture behind the pure white flowers. I’s like we’re being given a peek, first through the mirror (with its frame within a frame) and then the doorway behind.

Everything here is in a state of flux … nothing quite solid, except the vision. The guest room is closest to that point, but just around the corner in that room are all the space bags of linens … just need the linen closet to be built!

Thanks! Experimenting with Picasa3 ‘pixelate and blend mode’. I wanted it ‘off focus’ and not ‘out of focus’.

Lovely ethereal soft feel to this photo Cheryl. I like a little class in the construction zone!

Lovely “moody” picture! I love the reflection and the “world behind”.

Thank you, Barbara. Attempting to show that there are some areas of the place ‘almost there’ (guest room), but the majority of the space is not quite in sharp focus yet … perhaps when all the tradesmen and their gear are gone?

I love what you’ve done with the glads, that slight jiggliness is a nice contrast to what otherwise looks like utter serenity and perfection! Hoping that’s how it soon feels too…

Jiggliness … YES … that’s how I’m feeling, Carin, but we are almost there (5 – 6 more weeks apparently). I just want a closet so I can unpack! I know, whine, whine … oh, wait WINE. Is it too early?

Thanks, Rob. I wanted the shot to be ‘off’ focus not ‘out of’ to reflect how disassembled things are right now in a house still under construction. Almost there …!

Thanks, Dorothy … so glad to be back. Getting used to living in a construction zone! Almost a month now and I just may get a closet this week … woohoo!
