Since I am reading your posts backwards in time! I first wondered if the porch claimed another victim. It’s great shot. The color and texture of the blue jeans and that yellow whatever-it-is makes it pop.

Hope that’s a workman and not your husband!

Yes it is, Carole. If my husband ever could get under the porch, he’d never get back out again without a lot of help!

This is an entertaining shot, Cheryl. It made me laugh. Great details and colour too. I like his baggy pants with the dirty knees. His legs look so relaxed he might be nspping rather than working. It’s so clear you’ve caught him unawares that I half expect the guy to push out and reveal himself! Did he know you took the shot?

He knew I was taking the shot just before I pressed the shutter … I was laughing when I took it. My legs would have to be broken to be as relaxed as his!

What an unusual shot, did he know you took it? 🙂

There was some howling from under the porch when he heard me laughing … he knew what I was up to but could not exactly get out of my way before the ‘click’.

True then and possibly true now. Whatever this lad is doing I’ll bet it’s being done hum-dingingly well. (He IS awake, right?)
Looks like you’re going to have one delightful chronicle of this experience…

He was awake when I took the picture. I waited around long enough for him to slide out so I could see what he looked like. He frowned when I told him not to worry about anyone he knows seeing the pic … I was only going to publish it on my blog.

AH, Cheryl, you’ve done it again. Made me laugh well before the sun is up way out here in the west. I enlarged the picture for full enjoyment of the details, the scrape-marks in the sand, even what looks like the workman’s “list” of some sort, that little piece of paper in the upper right-hand corner. Terrific! Love it.
