Oh, I love stumbling on antiques in the woods, being reclaimed by nature. Fascinating. An old stove? And what’s the base it’s sitting on?

Almost true, Mary! No hydro on Delta Island. I think he replaced this wood-burning clunker with a propane stove! Makes me think of my grandmother, who went from cooking on a stove like this to being the first (octogenarian) in her village to buy a microwave oven.
