i’m working my way backwards through what I’ve missed . this is so striking. Cheryl. the perspective just sucks me into the picture. The colors and movement make it look like an abstract oil painting – very impressive photo!

Hello Janet … I’m so pleased you’re taking a tour. This was one of 35 selected by the client for my current installation, and the print has sold.

Really interesting effect here, Cheryl. It seems abstract, and I wouldn’t have known what it was if you hadn’t said, but now I can make out the shape of the road and what I guess (?) are reflections from the rain, lights, and a bit of the dashboard. Great colours. It could absolutely be a painting.

Thanks, Allyson … there’ll never be another photo with this effect … that old cell phone has been recycled by now.

Goodness, this is stunning! IS it a painting? Or have you used some wonderful editing tech? Very very lovely.

Thank you, Barabara. I used an in-phone filter setting for this photograph. An old cell phone that has long since gone to e-cycling. This is Yonge Street (at the Eaton Centre traffic signals) in Toronto during a fierce rainstorm.
