Whatta car, whatta car! If only there were fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror. I Love the photo effects!

Confession time, Janet … I have pink fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror of my Jeep 🙂

That shows you are indeed a person of class and artistic discernment! (I had some on my old Volvo, which were lost when my car was wrecked. May be time for some more.)

Sure was, Gilly. I hung around for a little while hoping to see if the owner was as cool! S/he didn’t show up before I had to be on my way.

It’s always a sign of summer around here when the old cars come out. But maybe this is a work truck all dressed up for a trip into town? I like the way you’ve muted the back ground to give the truck it’s rightful place of importance.

Thanks Allison … love it when this ‘other’ sign that spring is here shows up on the roadways and parking lots around here.

Love the effect you’ve achieved here. Really adds a nice retro feel. All that’s missing: a couple of sweeties squished together on the driver’s side as they head over to the A&W to show off. Country Roads playin’ a little too loudly on the radio….

Thanks, Carin … It was riding a little low on the passenger side! The post-processing effect is from Picasa3 freeware, “boost” feature.

Oh, this is a car from a car-era that I love! Love it! Perfect for moonlit cruising’ and … well … you know where that can lead!

This is a fun one! The bold colour — candy-red — and the way the Chevy fills the frame. And what you’ve done post-production. It looks like a poster or cartoon. Is the “Won’t Be Beat” sign hanging on a building behind? It almost seems added, but I don’t think it is.

Yes it was hanging on the wall of the Mall building at the other end of the parking lot, Allyson. I didn’t notice it until after taking the shot. Don’t you love it when that happens? Used ‘Boost’ in Picasa3 for that cartoon quality.
