That pure glimpse of smoky green makes this shot Cheryl. I almost didn’t see it, then I did, and I thought – is that how it came to you? – slowly out of the morning mist, enveloping you in the promised warmth?

Love how you see this shot, Allison… so beautifully poetic. Yes. The mist stalled forming a solid wall at the shoreline for a few hours and then the point, the island the opposite shore slowly emerged as the clouded sun warmed slightly.

Oh, I so want to dive in – it looks so cool and delicious. We’ve topped 100 every day this week, and a few last week as well. I am going to stare at your photo for hours.

YIKES, Janet … 100 degrees! I don’t think I could handle that at all. Glad the pic today will provide some cooling relief! Stare away …

Oh, whatever you went through to get this shot, it was worth it. Only the early quirk gets the mist. Beautiful, Cheryl. And I’ll take my tea and crumpets in that chair on the point… (:

Thanks, Carin. The chair is lonely for you. Perhaps a cup of cedar tea with a dollop of honey sitting among those blueberry bushes … OH! Watch out for flying puppies! Next to the dock, that’s their favourite leaping off point.
