One of my favourite things about being first one awake in our house is time alone at sunrise to marvel at the shadow play of the trees outside the window on the less organic tangibles inside the house. This, plays off the kitchen cupboards and wall clock.

What a beautiful composition, Cheryl. It captures your reverence for light, like the Impressionists. The addition of the apples is such a delightful, creative still life.
