Illumination

I don’t work with lights any more. The never-ending fascination for me in the past few years is the challenge to make a photo work using only the natural lighting available.  So I don’t have any ‘lights’ shots to submit other than post-processing experiments, and that doesn’t seem fair for this challenge.

Here’s one of my favourite shots using the rising sun’s reflection off, and through, the morning mist on the lake. I nudged the lens as far east into the sun as possible without completely diffusing the shot … or being temporarily blinded!
