Andrew Pyper on his FB page today posted the link to this article on Cdn Bookshelf.  Pyper rates it as an “Excellent mini-survey of the ghostly in CanLit.”  I discovered I’ve read and thoroughly enjoyed a few of the ghostly titles, which I recommend:

  • The Cure for Death by Lightening by Gail Anderson-Dargatz
  • Pyper’s Lost Girls and The Guardians
  • Michael Ondaatje’s Anil’s Ghost
  •  The Book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill
  • Cat’s Eye by Margaret Atwood
