Geometry

This week’s photo challenge is guest hosted by Quintin Lake. The challenge is about the shapes and rhythms that make up the geometry of our world. Quintin thinks it’s the most important aspect of a photograph’s success, the patterns of the natural world up close and personal, or the rhythm of your local buildings. The colour, light, and form of the image emphasize this geometry

I found rhythm in this very ordinary, every day item.  I converted the original image to sepia to reduce reflections off the flatware; then pencil sketch to enhance the edges and the wear marks; then duo-tones … well, because I like turquoise. The geometry is most obvious in the banding on the fork handles.
