Thanks, Carin. Just finished reading Alice Hoffman’s ‘The Red Garden’. Think all the storytelling about camping in the mountains in winter got my subconscious clicking! Didn’t see what this was until I started editing it.

Crystal Palace!!! How delightful to imagine oneself small enough to creep inside the “tent” with one’s bird-feather seeping bag stuffed with thistledown, and snuggle up for a crisp winter night with elfin pals. How delicate and lovely.

Thank you, Barabara … did you see that the ‘flap’ is partly open? Perhaps someone inside is peeking right out at you!

Not something I’m likely to see in Devon, amazing! I hope you post some more 🙂

I’ve been coming up to this lake since 2004, moved here permanently in 2013, Gilly, and only seen these twice. Late March seems to be the time for Nature’s show so I try to be more attentive at this time of year. A lot easier now walking the two dogs!

What a spectacular piece of nature’s artwork, Cheryl! That is one of those scenes that must have taken your breath away.

It did Allison. There was a huge number of ‘nature’s artwork’ on the road this a.m. 100+ shots to sort through some day
