I don’t know the names of the bird species, Carin, but some were brown with gold necks, others a solid black and one solitary bird a striking indigo.

Oh Cheryl, what a lovely sight. I know I would have just stopped and smiled if I came across this lovely scene and you’ve framed it beautifully. The choice of black and white is unexpected and captivating.
