Going out for a special dinner in cottage country can be quite the journey. First you line up for the taxi service booked a few days in advance.
You have to forget about sitting together … weight distribution in such a small craft is more important than holding hands on your anniversary.
But the view on the way out into Georgian Bay, Lake Huron, Ontario, Canada to the restaurant in the San Souci Islands is worth it.
And after dinner on the return flight, the sunset over the water from above is pretty fantastic.

That is one exciting, fun and beautiful trip my friend. I felt that I was there myself and looking down below with the most gorgeous view around. And the sunset…a perfect scene to end an amazing journey. God bless you and your love ones…may all our journey be that of love, peace and happiness.

Thank you, Mr. B. Through your eyes, I have just relived this wonderful anniversary trip. Today we start building our (last) house in that same beautiful area and will be moving there permanently when construction is complete. My heart sings with joy and love … sending some of that to you and your wonderful family.

Wow! Having to arrange an airplane to take you to dinner – now that’s way different from anything I’ve ever done. The meal would have to be fantastic to top the trip getting to the restaurant. The shots of the water are beautiful. Happy Anniversary!

It was an unforgettable anniversary experience … and I have TONS of photos to keep it that way. I had a tough time choosing which would best tell the story. Thanks for stopping by Gilly.
