Cool perspective! I love the bag. And what did you have to break to wear such a cool cast?!? Ok, I’ll go read the other comments now and get the back story. I hope that you are healing and will be up dancing soon!

It seems that everyone had the same thought that I did, your air cast looks rather Stars Wars or space age to me. Feel better soon and heal fast!

Thanks for the good wishes. This air cast is a pretty cool gadget alright … a storm trooper boot!

These look so cheerfully colourful and space-agey it might almost be worth it. But on second thought … no.
Anyway, I’m glad you aren’t letting the injury slow you down much, Cheryl, and that it’s even inspired some photo-documentation. I’d never heard of an “air cast” before either. Amazing.

It is amazing, Allyson … can’t imagine what a ‘full’ cast would do to a person’s morale … I’ve never had a broken bone before.

Between your boots and that bag, I’d say you’re looking very Jetsons…
Glad you’re feeling somewhat better.

Definitely feeling better, Carin … Jetsons! Hmmm? More like Storm Troopers … no elegant footwork these days. Can’t sneak up on anyone,

Very little pain now, Gilly. The first week was rough … now I’m thrilled to be mobile again … and for 5 more weeks.

Stepped on a loose board and fell 2.5 feet through the porch, Carole. Broken bone in my foot; 5 weeks in this amazing piece of medical technology … an air cast! Right out of Star Wars, don’t you think?

So sorry to hear this, Cheryl. I broke a bone in my foot 7 years ago and had to have surgery. Not fun at all. I wanted to burn my crutches when it was all over. Thank heaven you don’t have snow up there yet!

I consider myself sooo lucky not to need surgery and even more so with the invention of this oh so cool air cast! Racked up enough body parts falling 2.5 feet through the floor that I couldn’t handle the crutches. Was getting around using my desk chair like a scooter. That was effective but steering a little iffy. Hope you healed 100%?

That’s what I call putting your best foot … backwards? What a great composition — and what a great sense of humour. So excellent to know that nothin’s gonna hold you down (especially now that we’ve heard about the “air cast”.

Did a lot of lying around the first few days, Barbara … so boring. Bloody happy to be mobile again, even if it’s awkward and I can’t sneak up on anyone.
