It’s fabulous and I’d want it on show as well. Are the folds made of leather?

Feels like leather, Gilly. Did pleather exist in the 1930’s?

What a great shot (I like the majesty of the angle) and a gorgeous camera. So you’ve never used it? It’s just for show? We discovered a collectibles shop this summer, up near Beaverton, which had a display of vintage cameras. I was so tempted! (Since you asked, Cheryl, I’ll dig my older camera out of storage and take a photo of it — but it’s not as old as yours. Mine would be 1950s or 1960s, I think.)

I have never used it, but the desire is great to do just that, Allyson. Any Kodak film collectibles in Beaverton? If there are, I bet they cost more than $0.35 today. I have another favourite “woman’s” camera and case I can’t wait to share. Here’s to more vintage (cameras) next week!!!

Thanks, Barabara. I set it up if people ask, but I’ve never found the Kodak film that would let me use it. If anyone who loves collectible shops and antique stores EVER see vintage film suitable for a Kodak Senior SIX-16, please pm me!

Wow, what a beauty Cheryl. I hope you have that sitting out somewhere – I would want to look at it all the time.

I’m a coward Allison … I searched a long while for an intact folding camera (circa 1932-1936) so it’s in the box (which is also vintage) and I bring it out when people are curious.
